Paris shooting: Macron condemns "heinous attack" on Kurdish community President Emmanuel Macron has described the shooting death of three people in central Paris as a heinous attack on the Kurdish community in France. And on Friday, a gunman opened fire in central Paris, killing three people and wounding three others. The attacker targeted a Kurdish cultural center and shot members of the local community. A possible racist motive is being investigated. The suspect, who is 69 years old, was arrested soon after and is understood to have been recently released from prison.
